Maria Montessori
Montessori rarely spoke directly to parents as stated in the texts When Your Child Knows Better Than You and Let Your Child Keep His Secret, both texts from circa 1930
So this post aims to serve one main goal, but in three ways:
1. To show “The Work of Maria Montessori”, in her tireless efforts to convince her students, teachers and parents, as well as influential bodies, of the importance of the child within society and within humankind;
2. In particular by the unedited form of the texts, in particular the Curriculum Notes, to present an accurate picture of Montessori and its teaching;
3. To introduce ideas and approaches that were formed late in Montessori's life, some of which were not previously known, others that were barely recognised, instantaneously.
