Ibn Tufail
Hayy bin Yaqzan is a novel that tells the story of a person named Hayy bin Yaqzan who grew up on an island alone. He imprisoned him, then Sheikh Shihab al-Din al-Suhrawardi rebuilt it, after which the Andalusian philosopher Ibn Tufail rewrote it, then it was the last narration of the story by Ibn al-Nafis, who noticed some of the original contents of Ibn Sina’s narration, which did not agree with his doctrine, so he reformulated it to be the narration of Hayy ibn Wake up on the authority of Saleh bin Kamel.
The most famous author among these four, whose name is attached to the story, is Ibn Tufail. This novel had a great impact on John Locke, the English philosopher, who wrote a book describing the mind as a blank page
