It is for the sake of Ibn Majah’s books, the greatest of them, and the one that preserved them over time, and for which he was known and famous.
It is the sixth of the six books according to the famous saying; As the predecessors used to count the five fundamental books: Al-Sahihayn, Sunan Abi Dawood, Al-Tirmidhi, and Al-Nasa’i, then Sunan Ibn Majah appended them.
Rather, it was presented to other books. Because of the aspects in it that favor it over others, and because of the additions it contains to the five fundamental books, and what it contains of jurisprudence and good arrangement, and the quality of the hadith market and the brevity of the texts.
Sunan Ibn Majah is also distinguished by the accuracy of the arrangement and the large number of chapters, and its consistency with the jurisprudence it contains
