This is for the day of revelation when I was not there to hold you to my heart while you were trembling! And for the sake of the Day of Taif, when I was not there to keep stones away from you with my chest! And for the day of Khadija’s death, when I was not there to wipe your tears, and tell you: I am the ransom for your shoes! And for the sake of Sunday, if I wasn't there while you were wiping the blood off your honorable face, I would give you that blow! And for the poisoned shoulder of the sheep, if I was not there to eat it for you! This is because I believed in you and did not see you, and because I believed you and did not hear from you, and because I loved you and did not apply kohl to my eyes with you. May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
