In the Arabic Language Garden: Level 1 Student's Book + Exercises

The first level is the first educational level of the series (In the Garden of the Arabic Language) for the primary stage for non-Arabic speaking students, starting from the age of 6-7 years, and it can also be used for adolescents up to the age of 15 years who have not previously learned the Arabic language.

The educational material consists of 180 pages distributed into two books (the basic book + supplementary exercise book), and it contains 28 educational lessons, equivalent to the number of letters of the Arabic alphabet. Each lesson consists of 6 pages (4 pages in the base book + 2 pages in the supplementary exercise book)

The two books were designed and produced using full colors and large, clear fonts, with artistic directing work in an interesting and attractive style, and the use of modern, modern pictures and drawings of high quality to attract the non-Arab student to the interest in learning the Arabic language. To the pupils and attract them to love the book and interact with its contents.

At this level, students learn to know the letters of the Arabic alphabet in alphabetical order using the combinational method (reconciliation), in addition to acquiring the ability to recognize and differentiate between the letters of the alphabet in reading and writing in their abstract form and with all forms of drawing them in the beginning, middle and end of the word.

Distinguish between the sounds of the letters with fatha, damma, kasra, sukoon and tanween, and their extended sounds: alif, waw and yaa to reach mastery of pronunciation and writing skills.

The ability to distinguish between letters that are similar in pronunciation and that are similar in drawing. Recognize the image that expresses nouns, verbs and opposites associated with the student's surroundings.

Also, for the first time in the curricula of teaching the Arabic language, the skill of analysis and composition is applied, which has a major role in reading and writing the Arabic word quickly and easily.

On pages 116-117, there is a proposal for the subject of dictation, to consolidate the skills related to learning letters, their movements, their extension and their inflection, and the similar ones in drawing and pronunciation.

There is also a detailed index on pages 118-119 of the distribution of images in the book to facilitate access to them. It is called the illustrated dictionary.

Mastering the writing of all the letters of the Arabic alphabet and distinguishing between the similar in pronunciation and drawing, and the dictation course is closely linked to the basic book.

Making the student acquire the skill of copying by adopting many interesting ways, and accustoming him to writing from right to left as required in Arabic calligraphy.

The book contains drawing and coloring material in an attractive manner that aims to develop the student's imagination and refine his artistic and aesthetic taste.

Art activity book (dictation, calligraphy and art activities)

Dictation: mastering the writing of all letters of the alphabet and distinguishing between similar ones in pronunciation and drawing. Dictation is closely linked to the basic book.

Calligraphy: Make the student acquire the skill of copying by adopting many interesting ways, and accustom him to writing from right to left, as required in Arabic calligraphy.

Artistic activities: We presented the subject of drawing and coloring in an attractive manner. It aims to develop the student's imagination and refine his artistic and aesthetic taste.

Nasheeds: We wanted from them to develop the auditory sense and taste the beauty of Arabic melody, as well as to develop the student’s ability.
